Aches and pains come with age, but that's not the reason one man's leg is hurting.
A video posted to TikTok by Lizzie (@lizzzzziieeee) has gone viral for revealing the shocking reason her father's leg was hurting one morning: he had been breakdancing the night before. Since the video was posted on June 16, it has received 1.4 million likes and nearly 3,000 comments.
"My dad complaining that for some reason this morning his leg is in excruciating pain," Lizzie captioned the video. "My dad at the family function the night before."

In the video, viewers see Lizzie's father sitting in a chair looking upset before cutting to a clip of him from the night before. In the second clip, he is shown on a dance floor breakdancing.
In response to a comment saying her father looked "defeated and confused" in the morning, Lizzie wrote that her dad's behavior the next day was "so drama."
Viewers in the comments were shocked and delighted by the reveal, with some even saying they were concerned for her dad when they saw the initial clip about his leg pain.
"Absolutely no way I could have predicted where this would go," @rachelrosemitchell wrote.
"I was about to say he should go to the ER for sudden leg pain, and then I saw the reason why," @sarahblake98 wrote.
"I was like, 'Oh no, that could be a clot!' Then, you know, the other video came up," @_swamptreader_ wrote.
Some wrote about their own experiences with loved ones—or even acquaintances—doing things at parties they didn't remember the next day.
"This was my husband the day after a wedding," @books.with.coco wrote. "Made me take him to the ER because his knee hurt so bad. But zero recollection of multiple power slides across a concrete floor."
"My manager at work after the Christmas party wondering why his ear hurt, didn't remember shoving my earring through his old piercing," @mollmayx wrote.
But Lizzie's dad's story seems pretty on-trend for him: "I like how no one is paying attention, like this is a normal occurrence," @caroline_joyce wrote, to which Lizzie confirmed: "it is."
Indeed, on Lizzie's profile, her father features in early pandemic-era videos of TikTok dances and trends. It seems he is always up for a bit of fun—and Lizzie said the internet hasn't even seen the half of it.
"If only they saw everything else of him I've been holding onto all these years," she wrote in the comments.
