14 Days of Fortnite Day 12 Snowflake Guide: Where to Find and Destroy

It's day 12 of the 14 Days of Fortnite event, which means the extravaganza is almost over. Epic Games' battle royale has been giving out free cosmetics everyday for the past week and a half, delighting players who love getting stuff. If you still haven't completed all the challenges, you have two more days to go before all of this content goes back in the vault. There's no reason to miss out on the Frozen Axe pickaxe or the half a dozen sprays and emotes available in the event. Just don't expect to get the "Take the Elf" emote, that will be given to players in early 2019.

14 Days of Fortnite Day 12 Snowflake Locations

For day 12, you'll have to destroy the snowflake decorations littered around the island. These tiny ornaments hang from lamp posts, top buildings and chill in shop windows. You'll need to break 12 of them to unlock the snowflake emoticon, showing the winter icon hanging from a lanyard. The damage doesn't need to be completed in one game, but you shouldn't log out of a game until you are eliminated. Leaving early might wipe your progress and force you to do it all over again

There are eight spots, like Happy Hamlet, Retail Row and Fatal Field that spawn snowflake decorations on the map.

Fortnite news site Fortnite Intel recommends heading to Tilted Towers to find a whole mess of these snowflake decorations. Following the streets and looking at the buildings around you should show grant you enough snowflakes to complete the quest. The only problem with Tilted is that it is one of the most popular destinations to land on the map, meaning there will be more players trying to complete this quest while trying to kill you,

Heading over to Pleasant Park should make for an easier time. With just as many ornaments lying around, you should have no problem completing this quest and earning another in-game icon.
