Whichever camp you fall in, the day after Christmas (December 26) is a good day for a bit of retail therapy at one of the many stores that will be offering a host of post-Christmas sales on a range of items, from electronics, home goods and kitchenware to clothes, shoes and accessories.

Walmart
While Walmart was closed on Christmas Day, stores across the country are expected to resume normal hours on December 26. The shops are typically open from around 6 or 7 a.m. to 10 or 11 p.m., or 12 a.m. (local time), while some are open 24 hours.
The store hours vary by branch, so it's best to contact your local venue to confirm exact times or find your nearest branch on the company's website for more information.
Target
Normal store hours also resume at Target on December 26, with most places opening around 7 a.m. and closing around 11 p.m. or midnight (local time). Check the website to confirm the exact hours at your nearest branch by locating the venue at the Target website.
Kohl's
Earlier this month, Kohl's offered its annual extended hours over the Christmas season, which saw stores remain open for 24 hours through 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Normal store hours are expected to resume across the country on December 26, with most shops opening around 7 or 8 a.m., while closing times may vary from 12 to 1 a.m. (local time). Check the Kohl's website to view exact opening and closing times for your local branch.
Best Buy
The electronics store was closed on Christmas Day but reopens on December 26 at 9 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. (local time).
"Some stores may have different hours where required by local ordinances or landlord regulations. Mall-based Best Buy store hours may vary based on mall hours. For the most up-to-date hours, please review your local Best Buy store web page," the company notes.
Macy's
The retailer's flagship venue in New York's Herald Square in Manhattan will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (local time) on December 26. The opening and closing hours will vary at other branches across the country. Visitors can see the hours of their local branch at the company's website or call their nearest venue to confirm.
