'Destiny 2' Ascendant Challenge August 6 Guide - Aphelion's Rest Egg & Toland Locations

Destiny 2 continues its Ascendant Challenge rotation, taking players to Aphelion's Rest for the week of August 6. In this guide, we'll tell you where the Ouroborea challenge is located and how to find all the hidden eggs, bones and lore pieces your Guardian is looking for.

Where is Destiny 2's August 6 Ascendant Challenge Located?

The Ascendant Challenge for August 6 is located in the Aphelion's Rest Lost Sector marked on the map below. It's below Petra's spawn in the Strand.

Like all Ascendant Challenges you'll need a Tincture of Queensfoil to see the entrance Portal. Just go to the back of the Lost Sector and you should find it.

Completing the August 6 Ascendant Challenge

To complete the Ouroborea challenge, teams must destroy four Blights around the arena to "break the seal" of the crystals in the center. The first two Blights appear close to the Portal entrance, but the others lurk in the corners. Use a high-power Exotic to maximize damage. There are Knights in the area too, but your main goal isn't to kill them. Just avoid their insta-kill slam attacks.

Once you kill the Blights, you'll see a message that says "an opportunity." When that happens, grab a Shotgun and destroy the crystals in the center of the room. The Knights will close in as you shoot, so rotate around the outer border in a circular fashion and slowly work your way in. Stay mobile to take down the Knights.

Lore and Toland Locations for August 6

Once you've finished the challenge you can start looking for Toland and additional lore locations around the arena. As always, use the Wish-Ender bow to collect the eggs.

Egg 1: From the big Awoken statue, go to the left and you'll reach a large circular platform with two broken staircases attached to it. You'll see a staircase headed downward, next to another one that's facing up. Hop on the upward one and you'll see a glowing egg in the distance to the left.

Egg 2: From the back right-hand side of the arena, you'll see this strange tree in a sandy area. In the distance behind it is a glowing egg.

Egg 3: To the left of that tree is a straightaway path that eventually curves. Along the curve, you'll see a gazebo. Hop to it and make your way to a large, circular platform. You'll see these large columns with the egg inside.

Ahamkara Bone: Go back to the two staircases where you found Egg 1. Go up the upward staircase and into the area with columns. Hop atop this column to reach a crawlspace to the roof.

You'll see a statue with a glittering bone on top. You don't need the Wish-Ender to pick it up. That's all you need to know to figure out this week's Ascendant Challenge.
