'Destiny 2' Izanami Forge Unlock Guide - Spire Integration, Minotaur Farm & More

Destiny 2 players can unlock the Izanami Forge right now, but locating it is a little tough. In this guide, we'll walk you through the quest steps for the Spire Integration Heroic, places to farm Minotaurs and more. By the end you'll get Weapon Frames for the Bow and Pulse Rifle.

How to Unlock and Locate the Izanami Forge

1) Vex Transponder: Just go to Nessus and kill a bunch of Vex till you find a Vex Transponder. For this step, and many more, the best place to go is Artifact's Edge. To the left of the spawn area you'll find Vex, and there's also a Vex-filled Lost Sector called The Orrery as well. After you find the Transponder, just kill 100 Vex in the same place.

2) Complete a Heroic Spire Integration Public Event: For this step, stick to Hallow's Edge till you see a Public Event marker on your map. Once the event starts you'll see three circular platforms that you have to stand in. You essentially fill them by getting them to 100 kills each. Defend the area while filling those circles up.

3) Defeat 20 Minotaurs: If you're familiar with The Orrery Lost Sector by now, you can kill a Minotaur at the end and force it to respawn 20 times. You can also keep doing Spire Integration Public Events at Hallows, Tangled or Watcher's Grave and killing the Minotaurs in there. In two or three of those events, you should kill 20. If you're doing it with a team, just make sure everyone gets a shot at one so the whole group gets credit.

4) Complete Rekindle the Flames: It's a pretty easy marked quest on your map. Just finish it and kill the boss to keep moving. Once it's done, return to Ada-1.

5) Broken Izanami Igniter: For this step Ada requires you to complete three kinds of Public Events: a Glimmer Extraction, Hive Witches Ritual and Vex Spire Integration. For the Glimmer just look for any Glimmer Extraction, like one on Tangled or the EDZ. To make it Heroic, just shoot the little metal machines scattered around the area.

For the Witch's Ritual and Hive Essence, go to the Rig on Titan. Here, you'll see two Hive platforms. Stand on each one to expose these purple gems. Shoot each one and the event becomes Heroic.

The Spire Integration step works just like before. Repeat the steps as described.

6) Repair the Izanami Igniter: For this step you need to find Blended Ether, Condensed Blights and Radiolorian Vapor. To get Ether, just get precision multi-kills on some Fallen. Recycle a Fallen Lost Sector and repeat. For the five Condensed Blights, head to the Aphix Conduit Lost Sector on Io. You'll see a Blight in there. Rinse and repeat.

The Vapor requires you to do a mission on Nessus near The Cistern. Equip some jump-focused gear and go there. Shoot the blue crystals in the area to make platforms appear. Jump to them and keep moving before the timer runs out.

7/8) Complete the Volundr Forge: Do that and return the Igniter to Ada.

9) Complete the Advanced Insight Terminus: Go to the marked location, finish the mission and get a Cabal Component from the boss.

10) Reignite the Forge: Follow the marked mission again. You'll see a huge Hydra with a shield on it. To move the shield, shoot the glowing spots on either side of the creature to rotate it. Just keep moving it away from areas that allow you to do damage.

11) Return to Ada: She gives you the Bow Frame and access to the Forge.
