Did Anyone Win the Powerball Jackpot on 10/20/21? Numbers and Results

The Powerball jackpot has been steadily rising once again. It was reset earlier this month after the massive prize of $699 million was won by a single ticket.

The jackpot has since been rising back up to its current $73 million, and on October 20 the numbers were drawn once again.

The numbers were 07-29-36-41-43, with a Powerball number of 05.

The Power Play was 2x, so those who played in that game could double their prize money.

In Wednesday night's draw, no one took home the big prize, so it rolls over again to Sunday, October 24.

However, ticket-holders did claim second and third prizes, which are not small amounts.

One ticket-holder, in North Carolina, won the second prize of $1 million, but no one won the second prize in the Power Play game.

As for the third prize of $50,000, there were six winning tickets all over North America. These were in California, Texas, Wisconsin, North Carolina and two in Virginia.

Two ticket-holders won the third prize with the Power Play, which meant it doubled to $100,000. These tickets were in Indiana and Puerto Rico.

However, the big prize wasn't taken, and Sunday's draw will see ticket-holders vying for a jackpot of $86 million, with a cash value of $60.9 million.

Earlier this month, the jackpot was reset when a huge amount was won by a single ticket-holder.

Huge Payout

On October 4, the ticket-holder in California won the grand prize of $699.8 million, which had a cash value of $496 million.

Before that, the last jackpot won in the Powerball was back in June, when a single ticket-holder in Florida won $286 million.

A grand prize winner also won $238 million in March, showing how quickly the jackpots stack up through rollovers.

In January, there were three winners in four draws.

On January 20, a Maryland ticket won a staggering $731.1 million jackpot, after which the jackpot was reset to $20 million, which was then won in the following draw on January 23.

On January 30, two draws later, the jackpot was won again, having benefited from one rollover.

It is important to be aware of the pitfalls of gambling, and the Powerball website insists those playing must only do so if they can afford to, and that everyone should remember to gamble responsibly.
