A feline called Maggie has left internet users in stitches after her owners said that their pet's behavior with each of them is so different that it almost feels like living with two cats instead of one.

The first half of the viral video shared on TikTok on Sunday, under the username @laurenhuntington1, shows how the tabby cat behaves with her dad, running, zooming, and biting his hands and arms.

The second half shows how Maggie acts with her mom, and it's all a different story. In fact, she can be seen sleeping on her lap, head-butting her, and just generally acting sweet with her. The hilarious post comes with a caption that reads: "It is like living with two different cats." From the clip, it seems clear that Maggie sees her mom as her protector and her dad as her playing mate, and her face is what's giving it away.

A recent study published on Live Science showed that cats have nearly 300 facial expressions, including a "playing face" that they share with humans.

Researchers studied a colony of Los Angeles cats over the course of a year and ended up recording a total of 276 distinct facial expressions, which ranged from playful to aggressive and everything in between.

Moreover, each expression included very specific facial movements, including parted lips, dilated or constricted pupils, blinking, curled corners of the mouth, nose licks, and different ear positions, according to the study.

Forty-five percent of the facial expressions were friendly, while 37 percent were clearly aggressive, and 18 were ambiguous.

One user, Ytho, commented: "This is my cat but I'm single so I'm mum and dad depending on his mood."

Al wrote: "My girl cat sees my girl dog as her mom. my girl dog sees me as her mom: when we walk around it's like a train of girlies around the house."

Zaria added: "My roommate's cat has both of these personalities with me. Just depends on how spicy she is feeling at the time."
