The televised event will feature holiday-themed floats and performances as Disney's most beloved characters come together in honor of the holiday.

Glee star Matthew Morrison, former Spice Girls singer Emma Bunton and TV personality Jesse Palmer will host the event while artists including Sting, Shaggy, Pentatonix, Ingrid Michaelson and Grace VanderWaal, Portugal. The Man, Ally Brooke and the cast of the new Disney+ series, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, are set to perform.

The parade route includes stops along the famous Main Street, U.S.A., in both U.S. Disney Parks. At the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, the parade will travel along Main Street leading up to Cinderella's Castle while the Disneyland Resort in California lands at the Sleeping Beauty's Castle.

Viewers will see more than just their favorite characters and performers trotting along during the parade. During the special, viewers will get their first looks at some of the newest attractions coming to Disney Parks, including Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, set to debut at Disney Hollywood Studios in Florida in 2020 and California's Disneyland Park in 2022. Fans will also get a glimpse of the new Avengers Campus arriving at Disney California Adventure park in 2020 and the Disney Skyliner gondola, which opened in September.

The Christmas parade, which was recorded at both Disney Parks locations earlier this year, is set to air on ABC from 10 a.m. ET to 12 p.m. ET. Viewers without access to television can still tune into the event via live stream on ABC's website and app. Folks with Hulu Live TV service can stream the parade from there as well.

The Christmas parade comes following Disney's thrilling holiday season kickoff, which included parade events on Thanksgiving Day and December 13. In addition to giving fans a look at the famous amusement park's holiday decorations and exhibits, the broadcast will offer a sneak peek of Disney's newest interactive feature, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which opened in the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida on December 5. The new installation is slated to open at Disneyland in California in January 2020.
