The Yankees kept their season alive last night with a resounding 11-4 victory over the Dodgers in Game 4.

Last night's win prevented a sweep, but they still have a ton of work that needs to be done, as being down 3-1 is still a tough proposition to come back from.

That said, if any team can catch fire it would be this Yankees team, which boasts multiple hitters capable of getting hot and changing the course of a series.

For Game 5, Gerrit Cole is on the mound for the Yankees opposite Jack Flaherty for the Dodgers. For this article, we will be diving into the best MLB player prop picks for World Series Game 5.

First pitch is scheduled for 8:08 p.m. ET on FOX.

Jack Flaherty o2.5 Earned Runs (-115) Bet365

Flahery was traded over to the Dodgers in the middle of the season and generally had a solid year, but he has struggled in these playoffs.

He had one postseason start in which he pitched seven shutout innings, but in the other three starts, he gave up a combined 14 earned runs.

That includes a start in World Series Game 1 in which he allowed two earned runs in 5.1 innings pitched. That was a decent performance, but with the Yankees seeing him for a second time in this series tonight, we are fading him in this one.

Overall, he has a 6.10 ERA in the postseason, with a 5.63 FIP, 4.95 xFIP and 4.70 SIERA, all below-average numbers.

After not being able to do much in the first three games of the series, the Yankees bats really came alive last night, with an absurd 18 HardHits. They also had the top seven hardest hits in terms of exit velocity.

So, the guess here is that the Yankees jump on Flaherty early, scoring at least three runs off of him before the Dodgers go to the bullpen.

Juan Soto Home Run (+400) BetMGM

With the weather heating up a little bit from what it was in New York a couple days ago, along with slight winds blowing out of the stadium, it is time to buy in on a home run prop for tonight.

The Yankees hit three home runs last night, and, while none of them were from Soto, he still had a good night at the plate overall.

He had two HardHits, including the second-hardest hit of the game, a 110 mph exit velocity groundout due to a low launch angle, and his other HardHit turned into a double.

Soto has been on fire at the plate in this series as well. In four games, he has a 21.43 percent barrel rate and 66.67 percent HardHit rate, two numbers that would have led the regular season if extrapolated out.

Soto especially hits the 4-seam fastball hard, which is what Flaherty throws just under 45 percent of the time.

In Game 1 against Flaherty, Soto had another two HardHits, both of which had too low of a launch angle to leave the stadium. If he can just lift the ball a little bit more than he has, then he will easily send one over the fence to cash this out for us.

Gleyber Torres Home Run (+830) FanDuel

For our third and final pick of the evening, we might as well go with a full fade on Flaherty and take another home run prop for the Yankees.

This time, we are taking a longshot prop on Gleyber Torres, another Yankees batter who has been on fire at the plate.

While the stat sheet shows that Torres is only 3-for-16 at the plate in this series, he quietly has the second-best barrel rate on the Yankees at 18.75 percent.

He had a quiet day at the plate in both Games 2 and 3, but he was hitting the cover off of the baseball in Games 1 and 4, headlined by a home run last night.

In Game 1, he had three HardHits, two of which were off Flaherty, plus a double that traveled 383 feet off one of the best Dodgers bullpen arms, Michael Kopech.

Last night, he had three more HardHits, including a 366-foot homer. He also had a flyout that traveled even farther than the home run (369 feet), but that was just hit to the wrong part of the stadium.

In a plus matchup tonight, he hits another one yard, cashing out this huge plus-money prop.
