Television host and comedian Seth Meyers tore into President Donald Trump's relationship with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday's edition of Late Night With Seth Meyers.
Meyers said that for Trump, loyalty only goes one way, and there's no better example of this than Hannity—"the man who's arguably closer to Trump than anyone else in the world."
According to Meyers, Hannity is particularly loyal to Trump. In fact, it was reported a few months ago that the Fox News host had the president's direct phone line and they talked multiple times a day, including after Hannity wrapped his show most weeknights.
"Can you imagine that conversation?" Meyers asked the audience, joking that "It's probably the phone call version of two dogs sniffing each other's butts."
"And everyone in the White House knows it's happening, because Trump will walk around flaunting the fact that Hannity calls him every day," he said, citing a New York Magazine article that reported that the president often entered rooms saying, 'I just hung up with Hannity.'"
Meyers went on to joke that no one has used the presidency to make less-impressive celebrity friends.
"I mean JFK used the presidency to hang out with Marilyn Monroe," he said. "Trump plays phone a friend with the human embodiment of a Christmas ham—Sean Hammity."

"So that's how close those two are, or at least that's how close Hannity thought they were till last week when The Daily Beast reported that Trump called Hannity a suck-up behind his back," the Late Night host said.
The Daily Beast reported that Trump had repeatedly made fun of Hannity's interviewing skills and called the Fox News presenter's softball questions "dumb."
Meyers teased that Trump was angry with Hannity because the Fox News host often repeated "the single most embarrassing rumor about the president"—one that involved two prostitutes urinating on a bed once used by the Obamas during a stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow.
"Now I think I know what Hannity did to anger Trump," he said. "You see Hannity has spent hours on his show defending Trump from one especially salacious rumor about a certain sex act in a Moscow hotel room. A rumor so salacious that we will not stoop to repeat the details of it here on this show."
"But as we pointed out before, Sean Hannity often repeats all the embarrassing details of that specific rumor on his TV show, which is watched by millions of people and I feel like it might have started to annoy Trump because he just won't let it go."
"I mean now I know why Trump is mad at him, or should I say pissed," Meyers joked.
