Donald Trump Super Bowl Interview: Prop Betting Odds for President's Patriots vs. Rams Prediction, Pre-Game Interview

President Donald Trump's interview with CBS Face the Nation moderator Margaret Brennan will air before the Super Bowl this Sunday and similarly to other events surrounding sports, odds makers have released their predictions for some of the president's comments.

BetDSI Sportsbook, an online betting website, predicted that if the interview was to take place in the White House, it would most likely happen in the Map Room. The website determined it was least likely to occur in Trump's bedroom.

The website also released odds on whether Trump would pick the Patriots or the Rams to win the big game. Trump is no stranger to the New England Patriots and called his good friend, owner Robert Kraft, every week for a year after his wife, Myra, died, according to the New York Daily News.

"He called me every week to see how I was doing, invited me to things, tried to lift my spirits," Kraft told the New York Daily News. "He was one of five or six people that were like that. I remember that."

In 2017, when the Patriots beat the Atlanta Falcons 34 points to 28, Trump posted a congratulatory message to quarterback Tom Brady, Kraft and Coach Bill Belichick. He called their victory an "amazing comeback" and labeled them "total winners."

What an amazing comeback and win by the Patriots. Tom Brady, Bob Kraft and Coach B are total winners. Wow!

Following the 2017 win, the Super Bowl champions visited Trump at the White House, during which time he said the victory was "one of the greatest" of all time and the "greatest Super Bowl comeback of all time."

The Patriots solidified their spot in the Super Bowl for the third year in a row when they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC title game. Following the win, Trump congratulated the team on their winning season and predicted the Super Bowl would be a great game.

Congratulations to Bob Kraft, Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and the entire New England Patriots team on a great game and season. Will be a fantastic Super Bowl!

So, it's not entirely surprising that BetDSI put far better odds on Trump picking the Patriots to win over the Los Angeles Rams. BetDSI gave a money line of -500 for Trump picking the Patriots and a +1000 for him picking the Rams. Meaning, if someone bets $100 on the Rams and Trump picks the California team to win, that person would win $1,000. However, if the person placing the bet picks the Patriots to win and Trump picks the New England team, the person will have to bet $500 to win $100.

Along with his Super Bowl predictions, BetDSI also put odds on what Trump would say during his Face the Nation interview. Although the interview was set to air ahead of the Super Bowl, during a conversation with the president of the United States, it'd be extremely unlikely football would be the only topic of conversation.

During the conversation, BetDSI predicted Trump would say the words, "Super Bowl," "national anthem," "Make America Great Again," "State of the Union," "shutdown," and "border wall." Among the words Trump wasn't predicted to say were "social justice," "honor," "knee," "war," "battle" and "Maroon 5."

The taped interview is scheduled to air at about 3:30 p.m. EST on Sunday before CBS begins its coverage of the Super Bowl. The tradition of interviewing presidents before the Super Bowl began in 2004 with then-President George W. Bush, according to CBS.
