Donald Trump Uses Rally to Slam 'Nervous Nancy' Pelosi and 'Sleepy Joe' Biden, Describing Elizabeth Warren as 'Pocahontas' Again

President Donald Trump hit out at his opponents during a Louisiana rally, bashing Democratic front-runners Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden, as well as dismissing the impeachment inquiry launched by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Reverting to the use of nicknames to mock his rivals, Trump fired up the crowd in Lake Charles on Friday night as he panned "Nervous Nancy" and "Sleepy Joe," also reviving his "Pocahontas" jibe at Warren.

"I absolutely think they're going to endorse me, because if they don't can you imagine having Pocahontas as your president," Trump said of the media as he took a shot at Warren, whose Native American heritage claims the president has suggested are exaggerated.

"Or how about Sleepy Joe? His son who knows nothing about energy unlike the people in this room," Trump added of Biden, later commenting that the impeachment inquiry was the Democrats "making a pathetic effort to save Sleepy Joe, Sleepy Joe Biden... he was only a good vice president because he understood how to kiss Barack Obama's a**."

Also lambasting the Democrats over the inquiry, which was launched following a whistleblower who claimed the president had asked a foreign leader to investigate a potential political rival, Trump said: "The radical Democrat policies are crazy. Their politicians are corrupt and their candidates are terrible.

"They know they can't win on Election Day so are pursuing an illegal, invalid and unconstitutional bull**** impeachment," he continued, drawing cheers from the crowd.

Turning his attention to Pelosi, Trump said: "Nervous Nancy. I used to think she loves the country; she hates the country.

"Nancy Pelosi hates the United States of America. She would not be doing this. Foreign people looking at us, they honestly think we are nuts," he added.

The president has hit out at Pelosi on numerous occasions following the announcement of the impeachment inquiry, which he has dubbed a "witch hunt."

Indeed, following Pelosi's announcement, the White House released a summary transcript of the July phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in which Trump mentions Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

However, Trump has insisted that he did not put any pressure on Zelenskiy during the phone call and that there was no "quid pro quo" discussed between the pair.

The White House has also released a letter stating that the inquiry was an attempt by Democrats to undermine the results of the 2016 presidential election, and declining to cooperate with the inquiry.
