Broly and Bardock are the first DLC characters available for Dragon Ball FighterZ. These two new fighters bring the Saiyan count to seven, but Broly and Bardock are set to add new ways to play in Dragon Ball FighterZ .
Unfortunately, as of 9 a.m. EDT, Broly and Bardock are not available to download on PS4. It seems Xbox owners are the first to get the new DLC characters for Dragon Ball FighterZ. If you are an Xbox owner you can follow these steps to start playing as Broly and Bardock. If you're on PS4 and Steam, you can get your game ready for when the DLC drops later on March 28.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD BROLY AND BARDOCK
First, update Dragon Ball FighterZ to Version 1.07. Your console should update the game automatically, but if it doesn't, scroll over to the Dragon Ball FighterZ icon and press the OPTIONS button on your controller. Select CHECK FOR UPDATE and Version 1.07 should appear and download.
Updating your game will have Broly and Bardock appear on the character selection screen, but they'll be locked. To unlock them, players will need to purchase the characters separately for about $5 each, or the FighterZ Pass for $35.
To get to these, you can simply head over to the PSN Store or Microsoft Store and search FIGHTERZ to get the options for the purchases. Once you've purchased them you can select DOWNLOAD where ADD TO CART would be and this will automatically upload the DLC into your game.
On PS4 , players can verify content has been downloaded by doing the following:
- Visit the Dragon Ball FighterZ page on the PS4 Home Menu or Game Library.
- Select the game and scroll down to the "PlayStation Store" section at the bottom.
- If you have already purchased the DLC, players can download the content from the My Add-ons section. If not, it will take you to the PlayStation Store.
On Xbox One , players can verify content has been downloaded by doing the following:
- Go to My Games and Apps.
- Locate Dragon Ball FighterZ and press Menu.
- Select Manage Game.
- Scroll all the way to the right on this menu to see what DLC is Ready to Install, and start those installs.
