Goku (GT) arrives in 'Dragon Ball FighterZ' Bandai Namco

It's been a few months since the release of a Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC character, but fans of the popular fighting game will soon get their hands on Goku from the Dragon Ball GT series.

Starting May 9, Dragon Ball FighterZ players will be able to fight as Goku after he was turned back into a child when Emperor Pilaf used the Dragon Balls. While not as powerful as when he's in his adult body, Goku (GT) still has plenty of unique attacks and abilities and, from the looks of his gameplay trailer, can return to his older self when he transforms into Super Saiyan 4 to deliver a massive Dragon Fist.

Check out Goku (GT) gameplay below.

The new Goku character is expected to appear on Thursday morning, but the timing depends on your console of choice. Based on past DLC character releases, players can expect Goku (GT) to appear around 3 a.m. EST for Xbox One owners, while PS4 and Nintendo Switch owners will likely have to wait for the late morning or early afternoon on May 9. We will update if the timing changes.

Each character in FighterZ Pass 2 can be purchased separately for $4.99 or all six characters can be purchased for $24.99.
