The latest issue of V-Jump reveals Base Goku and Vegeta as the next DLC characters for Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball FighterZ.

According to V-Jump -- via Ryokutya -- Base Goku and Vegeta will be released in August for PS4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version will get a beta that includes both characters that will only be playable in local fights.

Take a look at the scan revealing Base Goku and Base Vegeta in the tweet below.

The latest issue of V-Jump also reveals some information on the attacks Base Goku and Vegeta will have in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Base Goku will have his Kaioken, letting him perform consecutive attacks after activation. When an ally falls, the Kaioken can be increased to power up by a multiple of three or 20. Goku's Spirit Bomb will be the most powerful of his, but it'll take a lot of time to pull off.

Base Vegeta will have access to his Galick Gun, where he launches energy towards the ground. The move can be used in mid-air. Galaxy Breaker will be his special, allowing the Saiyan to emit energy from his entire body.

It's unclear when exactly Base Goku and Vegeta will be released, or whether they will only be released in Japan (unlikely). We'll update as soon as more information is available.

When Broly and Bardock, the first pair of DLC characters were released back in March, future fighters were leaked within the game's coding. The second pair of DLC, Vegito and Fused Zamasu, were in the leak, along with Base Goku and Vegeta. This reveal from V-Jump again confirms that the leak was absolutely right, meaning that the fourth pair of DLC coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ will be Android 17 and Cooler.
