Gal Gadot just gave fans some more insight about the terrifying health scare she endured during her pregnancy, revealing how a massive blood clot in her brain left her unable to hear or see.
On the Tuesday, March 18, episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the Snow White actress shared the harrowing details of the medical crisis that nearly took her life. She recalled how at eight months pregnant with her daughter Ori, Gadot, 39, developed intense headaches that worsened over time.

Despite seeing several doctors who dismissed her symptoms as just a "nasty migraine," her condition continued to deteriorate, and eventually went to the ER to get an MRI.
"None of the doctors sent me to get an MRI, even though we asked for it before. Always advocate for your health, always listen to yourself," Gadot stressed to the audience.
Her breakthrough came when doctors discovered a "major brain clot." Gadot explained, "If I had gone through a spontaneous delivery, I wouldn't have been here." She was diagnosed with three blood clots, and her delivery was expedited within hours of the diagnosis. She reflected, "It was the first time that I felt what it meant to be scared to death," but noted that blood thinners could have made a world of difference, had she known what was going on.
