Sheryl Crow is parting ways with her Tesla — and she's not looking back.
The country singer decided it was time for a new vehicle, given her apparent disdain for Elon Musk, who owns Tesla Corp.
"My parents always said... you are who you hang out with," Crow captioned an Instagram post on Friday, February 14. "There comes a time when you have to decide who you are willing to align with. So long Tesla," she added.

In the IG video, Crow waved goodbye to the vehicle as it was hauled away from her home on the flatbed of a tow truck. She chose the song "Time To Say Goodbye" by Andrea Bocelli to accompany the post.

Crow decided to donate the money to NPR "in hopes that the truth will continue to find its way to those willing to know the truth." She also referred to the Tesla honcho as "President Musk."
Two weeks ago, Deadline reported that FCC chairman Brendan Carr launched an investigation into NPR and PBS.
"I believe this FCC investigation may prove relevant to an ongoing legislative debate. In particular, Congress is actively considering whether to stop requiring taxpayers to subsidize NPR and PBS programming," Carr said.
In response, president and CEO of NPR Katherine Maher, held her ground.
"Programming and underwriting messaging complies with federal regulations, including the FCC guidelines on underwriting messages for noncommercial educational broadcasters, and Member stations are expected to be in compliance as well. We are confident any review of our programming and underwriting practices will confirm NPR's adherence to these rules," she stated, per Deadline.
For his part, Musk has been appointed by President Donald Trump to investigate the federal bureaucracy in an effort to cut trillions in unnecessary spending.
No word on what kind of vehicle Crow will invest in next.
