Vanessa Hudgens has made her first public appearance since giving birth to her first child in July 2024. The High School Musical star, 36, attended the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday, March 2, alongside her husband, Cole Tucker, 28.

Hudgens went glam for the event, wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana gown complete with black feathers and a high leg slit. She had her black hair slicked back in a braided bun. Meanwhile, her baseball player husband looked dapper in an all black suit.

Hudgens confirmed her pregnancy on the red carpet at the 96th Academy Awards last year. She walked the red carpet with a visible baby bump on March 10, 2024. The announcement came three months after she and Tucker tied the knot in Mexico.

"It was genuinely the most magical weekend of my life," she told Vogue in March 2024 of her special day.

"I am so grateful that we got to have a private wedding, and it helped that I took everyone's phones away. It was amazing because at the dinner, I would look around and everyone was talking to each other—our family and friend groups coming together and creating real relationships that I know they're going to invest real time into. Seeing that and bringing everyone together and celebrating us, it was just so magical," she added.

Hudgens gave birth in July 2024. A handful of media outlets reported the news, sharing paparazzi photos of Hudgens leaving the hospital. She took aim at the photo leak on her Instagram Stories the next day.

"We're disappointed that our family's privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media," she wrote on July 4, 2024. "Despite all of that, mom, dad and baby are happy and healthy."
