Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album posted the second-largest sales week of the modern era, according to Billboard, marking the biggest opening of her career after just one day of release last Friday. A four-time Grammy winner for Album of the Year, this is her first new project since 2024’s The Tortured Poets Department.
The record features 12 tracks with no bonus songs—an intentional creative choice. During an August appearance on the New Heights podcast, co-hosted by her fiancé and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, Swift explained, “You couldn’t take one out and have it be the same album, and you couldn’t add one—it’s just right.”
Swift’s upcoming appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will be her first since November 2022, when she promoted her Midnights album.
