In true 'Knives Out' fashion, the teaser was incredibly mysterious, panning upward on a church's steeple as the church bells ring and paired with the Bible verse, "The wicked desire the stronghold of evildoers, but the root of the righteous endures."

The 'Knives Out' series follows private investigator Benoit Blanc, expertly played by Daniel Craig, as he solves various mysteries.
"I love everything about whodunnits, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is," creator Rian Johnson said on social media. "There's a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and getting to explore that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc movies."
So far, there have been two films following the eccentric investigator: 'Knives Out' in 2019 and 'Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery' in 2022. Both films were critically acclaimed, with the former receiving an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay and the latter for Best Adapted Screenplay.

In addition to the excellent writing, each film is known for its stacked casts. 'Knives Out' featured countless talented actors, including Ana De Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Evans, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, LaKeith Stanfield, and Christopher Plummer.
Meanwhile, 'Glass Onion' featured the talents of Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista.
'Wake Up Dead Man's ensemble cast will have Josh O'Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.
"We've been very lucky with each of these movies to have gathered some of my favorite actors on the planet, and that's absolutely the case here," Johnson told Tudum. "They're also all lovely folks who get along, which is the dinner party aspect of it. When you're making an ensemble movie like this, I think that's key."
