Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the best in the series, combining every character, item and feature from past games in the franchise in one package. However, newcomers may have a hard time understanding the mechanics of Nintendo's premiere fighting game.
Smash Ultimate does have tutorials and how-to sections, but they may be a bit difficult to navigate. Luckily, Nintendo posted a short tweet showing where Smash Ultimate players can find these sections, which you can see below.

HOW TO FIND TUTORIALS IN SMASH ULTIMATE
In the main menu, select the "Vaults" section, which is located in between the "Games & More" and "Online" tabs.
Select "Movies" to find helpful tutorials and select "How to Play." This video will cover the basics of fighting in Smash Ultimate , which you can also find in our beginner's guide, here.
If you're looking for more in-depth and specific help on characters, items and stages, select "Tips," then go to the section you wish to learn more about.
The Fighters section will teach you every special each fighter can perform. This section will also explain some of the quirks each character has, like whether they take damage from water.
Techniques is a more advanced section that explains how certain aspects of the game work. Some examples are what happens if you're on a ladder, grabbing a ledge and so forth.
Items will run down all 151 items in Smash Ultimate, what they do and how best to use them.
Stages will explain the hazards found on each level and the best way to fight on them. Spirits explains how skills work, what the dojo training in Adventure Mode can do and much more. If you're looking to get through the World of Light mode, you'll want to take a peek.
The "Other" section just explains some of the lesser aspects of Smash Ultimate like the music, challenges and more. There's plenty to read and get a grasp on so dive right in.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now for Nintendo Switch.
