Wicked swept us all up with its magic when it landed last month, becoming an instant hit, making $112.5 across its domestic opening weekend, and now climbing to $525.3 million at the worldwide box office as it continues to play in theaters around the world.

The official Instagram account for the movie revealed yesterday that, instead of the anticipated Wicked: Part Two, the film will actually be titled Wicked: For Good.
"For Good" is one of the musical's most moving songs, which sees the two best friends share the impact the other has had on their lives and how thankful they are that their paths have crossed.
It's a tear-jerking moment and one that fans of the Broadway musical are highly anticipating in the second part of the film, led once again by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande-Butera.
Wicked gathered four Golden Globe nominations last week, with nods in the Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture, and Cinematic and Box Office Achievement categories.
Grande-Butera and Erivo are also in the conversation for Oscar nods come January when the nominations are announced.
Wicked: For Good will be in theaters on November 21, 2025.
