Everything We Know About This Year's BAFTAs: Nominees, How to Watch

Every year, the British Academy—the United Kingdom's equivalent of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences—comes together to select the very best of the year's films and television shows. The BAFTAs (British Academy Film and Television Awards) are the U.K.'s biggest award show—but it's not just British productions who are eligible. Many familiar American films have been nominated as well, including one blockbuster who garnered the most nominations.

Dune has the highest amount of nominations this year with 11. The Power of the Dog also scores big with 8 nominations, and Licorice Pizza is not far behind with 5. Other nominated movies include Cruella, Don't Look Up and Last Night In Soho.
