Ex-Porn Actress Stabs 2-Year-Old Son to Death, Police Say

A Hungarian former pornographic actress was reportedly arrested on October 1 for allegedly stabbing her 2-year-old son to death and leaving his body on a checkout counter of a Lidl supermarket in Italy, in what police believe was a gruesome act of revenge against the child's father.

Katalin Erzsebet Bradacs, 44, has been arrested and charged with the murder of her son, Alex Juhasz, Newsflash reported. She faces life imprisonment, according to a report by TVPInfo.

Bradacs reportedly entered a Lidl store in Città della Pieve in the region of Umbria, Italy, on October 1, shouting for help as she placed her son's bloodied body on top of a checkout counter.

But the toddler was pronounced dead at the scene, with nine stab wounds found on his body, chest and neck. The store was sealed off by police as part of their investigation.

Police arrested Bradacs after they found a knife in her handbag. Later that night, at a disused building nearby, several items were found, including Bradac's jumper and Juhasz's blood-stained T-shirt, which was had nine stab holes on it.

Investigators believe Bradacs's motive for the alleged crime is revenge against the child's father, Norbert Juhasz, who she is separated from and had been disputing custody with.

Norbert Juhasz, who lives in Hungary, alerted authorities after a photo of his dying son was reportedly sent to his mobile phone via WhatsApp. It was Bradacs who sent the photo reportedly shortly before she took the child to the store, according to Newsflash. Bradacs reportedly wrote with the photo: "now it will no longer belong to anyone."

After she was arrested, when she was questioned by police Bradacs repeatedly stated: "I did not kill my son." Bradacs reportedly gave three contradictory accounts of the events before deciding to stop talking, on the advice of her lawyer, Enrico Renzoni.

Bradacs is being held at a prison in Perugia. She had been living at the a home in the Tuscan town of Chuisi Scalo belonging to a man the now closed nightclub where she had worked.

Juhasz said his former wife had fled to Italy with their son last month after a Hungarian court granted him custody of the boy.

Witnesses reported that Bradacs had been mistreating her son the day before his death.

Bradacs also has an 18-year-old son who lives in Hungary and whose father is deceased.

Newsweek has contacted Renzoni for comment on the case.

The investigation continues.
