The second Far Cry 5 live event, Arcade Dawn has begun and it comes with some pretty nice rewards -- namely the Vector .45 weapon and accompanying skin. The event kicked off Tuesday, April 10 at 1 p.m. EDT and will continue for a full week. Far Cry 5 Live Event Guide: Everything You Need To Know About The 'Arcade Dawn' Event
As mentioned, this week's Far Cry 5 event is "Arcade Dawn" and includes both a personal goal and a community goal which must be completed by April 17 to claim the rewards. The event will take place inside the Far Cry arcade and according to Ubisoft's post, the goal is pretty simple: "Kick back, play a lot, check out other worlds."
Far Cry 5 'Arcade Dawn' Live Event Personal Goals & Rewards: How To Get The Vector .45
As with the last event, there are two separate reward pools players work towards in the Arcade Dawn event. The first is personal goals, which you complete alone. To complete this week's personal event challenge, all you have to do is spend 40 minutes playing games in the Arcade to earn the lovely Vector .45 weapon. You'll also receive these rewards after playing in Arcade for the given amounts of time:
- Play In Arcade For 20 Minutes - 100XP and 50 Silver Bars
- Play In Arcade For 40 Minutes - 100XP and Vector .45
Far Cry 5 'Arcade Dawn' Live Event Community Goals & Rewards
Outside of the personal rewards, Live Events also feature community level rewards received by the entire community as they reach specific goals. Here are the goals the community must reach by April 17 to receive the group rewards:
- Play In Arcade For 1.5 million minutes - 100XP and 50 Silver Bars
- Play In Arcade For 3 million minutes - 100XP and Arcade Pro Player Outfit
How To Sign Up For Far Cry 5 'Arcade Dawn' Live Event: Do You Need A Season Pass?
Far Cry 5 Live Events are open to all players. Anyone can sign up for the Far Cry 5 live event regardless of whether they have a season pass or not. To access the event, follow these steps:
- Open your saved game
- Navigate to the in-game menu where you find your map, inventory and other important info.
- Go to the tab for Online play and select Live Events
- You'll see information there about the current event and the objective. Once you accept the quest, you can go back to your game to complete it.
How Do I Know When The Personal And Community Goals Have Been Met?
Far Cry 5's Live Events screen shows your personal goal progress and the community's progress. In the future, Ubisoft plans to bring more Live Events to the game for players to participate in individually and as a community.
