Fast Chat: 'Nobody Wants Me'

When I designed ["The O'Reilly Factor"] in 1995, I never felt that I was going to be in the middle of a culture war. But [now], with the click of a mouse, you can get hyper-partisanship on the Internet.

I don't get invited to parties. Nobody wants me. When I do go, everyone is exceedingly polite to me.

I wouldn't choose any of them. There is nothing on earth that could make me engage any of those people.

CBS made a brilliant move. Network news is going to depend on personalities rather than general presentation. Katie Couric is a terrific personality.

Joseph Lieberman, John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy.

OK, maybe Evan Bayh. Maybe Barack Obama. From what I can see of him he does have traditional beliefs. But I could be wrong because he's cagey.
