FIFA, the global body that administers soccer, held an extraordinary congress of members Friday to elect a new president, Swiss soccer executive Gianni Infantino, and adopt reform proposals in the wake of a bribery and corruption crisis that has plagued the organization for the past year.  

Meanwhile, former FIFA President Sepp Blatter said he's disappointed that the organization's appeal committee decided to uphold his ban from the sport.
