Final Fantasy XIV has managed to remain one of the most lively MMORPGs out there, with a thriving fan community. Players have been riding chocobos and slaying enemies while taking part in epic raid battles since the game relaunced with A Realm Reborn in 2013. The 51st Letter from the Producer event will feature members of game's developerment team speaking about the new content headed to Eorzea. The stream will be broadcast live from San Francisco and show off content from the Shadowbringers expansion, which launches July 2. The stream will "cover battle system changes and new job actions," according to a blog post announcing the stream.

Where and When to Watch Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LI

The Letter from the Producer event is scheduled to take place on May 23 at 4:30 p.m. EDT, though the stream may be delayed due to technical issues or unforeseen circumstances. Along with new Shadowbringers gameplay, there will be new information on patch 5.0.0 and "miscellaneous announcements," according to the blog post. The stream will be translated live from Japanese to English, allowing everyone who tunes in to get all the information (as long as they speak one of those two languages).

The Shadowbringers expansion is the third for theo the MMORPG and perhaps the most hyped. Players will go on a journey to become a warrior of darkness, continuing the main storyline that's been slowly unfolding, and will be able to travel to the offworld land of Norvrandt, leaving Hydaelyn for the first time.

There are three different versions of Shadowbringers you can purchase.

  • Standard Edition- ($39.99)- You get the base expansion.
  • Digital Collector's Edition- ($59.99) This edition comes with a few extra in-game items including the Grani Mount, Revolver Gunbreaker Weapon and Fran minion.
  • Collector's Edition- ($199.99)The most expensive option y gives you everything in the Digital Collector's Edition, along with a few physical items like a Dark Knight figure, an art book, a keychain and a deck of Final Fantasy -themed playing cards.
