What will Happen in The Flash Season 6?

In a departure from previous seasons of The CW show, Season 6 will be split into two, with two stories split by the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Showrunner Eric Wallace told San Diego Comic-Con: "In the past, we've had 22 episodes with one big bad..."We're going to take those 22 episodes and ... we're going to divide it up into two graphic novels.

"Graphic novel number one will be the first half of the season — a self-contained story with Dr. Ramsay turning into Bloodwork. We go to Crisis for an interlude, and then the back half in a completely self-contained story that's graphic novel number two with a second big bad—" though what that second story will be has not been revealed yet.

The showrunners also confirmed there would be no time jump from Season 5, meaning Barry and Iris are still grieving over Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) in Season 6.
