Former Obama Adviser Susan Rice Calls Sen. Lindsey Graham a 'Piece of Sh*t'

On an advance clip of Pod Save The World, former White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice calls Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina "a piece of shit."

The comment came after show cohosts Tommy Vietor, former White House National Security Council spokesman and Ben Rhodes, former Deputy National Security Adviser, were discussing the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi with Rice.

"You have to understand Benghazi to understand Trump," Rhodes said.

"Lindsey Graham isn't just a piece of shit now..." Vietor said before being interrupted by Rice.

"He's been a piece of shit," Rice said. "I said it. I said it, damn it. He's a piece of shit."

Senator Graham has been one of President Donald Trump's most vocal supporters. Most recently, Graham defended one of Trump's tweets in which he called the ongoing impeachment inquiry a "lynching."

Graham told reporters Trump's usage of the term was accurate.

"This is a lynching in every sense," Graham said, according to The Daily Beast. "This is un-American. I've never seen a situation in my lifetime as a lawyer where somebody's accused of a major misconduct who cannot confront the accusers, call witnesses on their behalf, and have the discussion in the light of day so the public can judge."

Filmmaker Jeremy Newberger tweeted about the situation soon after it happened, saying Graham cherished his appearances on Fox News more than he cherishes America.

Graham has criticized Rice in the past. In 2017, Graham told Fox News that Congress should investigate reports that Rice had requested the names of members of Trump's transition team be made public.

"I'm not going to prejudge here, but I think every American should know whether or not the national security adviser to President Obama was involved in unmasking Trump transition figures for political purposes," Graham said, according to Politico. "It should be easy to figure out, and we will."

So some day, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights. All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here - a lynching. But we will WIN!

"When it comes to Susan Rice," Graham added, "you need to verify, not trust."

Rice denied Graham's allegations during an interview on CNN.

"I did my job, which was to protect the American people, and I did it faithfully and to the best of my ability," Rice said. "And never did I do anything that was untoward with respect to the intelligence I received."

Recently, Rice and Trump have exchanged tweets over the Syria situation, stemming from Rice's appearance on Real Time With Bill Maher.

Trump said Rice's tenure as Obama's National Security Adviser was a "disaster."

Susan Rice, who was a disaster to President Obama as National Security Advisor, is now telling us her opinion on what to do in Syria. Remember RED LINE IN THE SAND? That was Obama. Millions killed! No thanks Susan, you were a disaster.

Rice responded by reminding Trump of the hug he gave her in 2015, which she described as "totally gross."

Then why did you come up and hug me at 2015 WHCD when I’d never met you (which was totally gross) and whisper in my ear that I had been “very unfairly treated” over Benghazi and “was doing a great job for the country”? https://t.co/HG3SU2gfrE

Rice is currently making the media rounds to promote her new memoir, Tough Love: My Story of the Things Worth Fighting For.
