'Fortnite' Content Update 9.41 Adds Storm Scout & Birthday Items - Patch Notes

- Storm Scout Sniper Rifle
- The scope on this sniper rifle contains an embedded weather map that displays upcoming storm circles before they are revealed on the minimap.
- Available at Epic and Legendary Rarities.
- Damage: 81/85
- Headshot: 202/212
- 1.1 Rounds per second.
- Uses Heavy Ammo.
- Reload Speed: 2.84s/2.7s.
- Birthday Presents
- Available in Legendary Rarity.
- Can be found from Floor loot, Chests, Vending Machines, Supply Drops and Llamas.
- Not available in Arena and Tournament playlists.
- Presents have six possible packages of loot.
- Birthday Cake
- Found around various POIs.
- Not available in Arena and Tournament playlists.
- Grants five Health and five Shield.

The main feature of Fortnite Content Update 9.41 is, of course, the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle which offers players a sneak peek at Storm activity before it happens. While the overall stats for this weapon aren't all that different from a traditional Sniper, the Storm Scout's greatest advantage lies in its added ability. Those who know where the storm will go can locate the best spots to camp while picking off opponents from a distance. Beyond that, Birthday Presents and Birthday Cake offer new avenues for health and loot, but neither item drastically changes the game as we know it.
Fortnite Content Update 9.41 arrives just 24 hours after the main 9.41 update that featured fixes for Creative Mode and iOS. Because that patch arrives so shortly before this one, an additional download is not required to experience Fortnite Content Update 9.41.
