The Fourth of July holiday will be business as usual for the vast majority of stores across the country, which will keep their doors open for customers.

While postal and courier services, and banks and financial institutions will be shut both on July 4 and July 5—this year the holiday falls on a Sunday, which means it's observed the following day—the likes of Target, Walmart and Kroger will be open throughout July 5.

It is worth noting, however, that some stores may shut earlier or open later than usual.

Here's a breakdown of which stores will be open over July 5.

Aldi

Aldi stores will operate as usual on July 5, according to the company's website. Specific hours for local stores can be found using Aldi's store locator.

Best Buy

Best Buy stores will be open on July 5, but opening hours may differ from the regular business time. As with Aldi, check the store locator tool to find details about the closest branch.

Costco

Costco was one of few companies to keep all its stores shut on July 4. Costco stores will reopen at 10 a.m. on Monday.

CVS

CVS pharmacies, including those open 24 hours, will operate as normal on July 5. Some stores, however, may operate on reduced hours or be shut altogether. Customers are advised to check the company's website for store-specific details.

Home Depot

Home Depot stores will be open nationwide between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. on July 5.

Kohl

Kohl branches across the country will open at 10 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. on July 5.

Kroger

Kroger stores will be open on July 5, but opening hours vary depending on location and customers are advised to check the business hours of their local branch on the company's website.

Lowe's

It will be business as usual at Lowe's on July 5, with branches open nationwide between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Macy's

Rite-Aid

Rite-Aid stores will be open on July 5, but business hours will vary by location and type of store. Rite-Aid pharmacies will operate from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., while mall stores will follow mall opening hours and 24-hour Rite-Aid stores will remain open 24 hours throughout July 4.

Target

Most Target stores will operate as on Monday, opening at 8 a.m. and closing at 10 p.m.

"Target stores will be operating Fourth of July weekend with our normal store business hours, which vary by location," the company said in a press release. "To find a store's hours, use Target.com's 'Find a store' feature to select your store and view the store hours for the upcoming week."

Trader Joe's stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 5.
