The Teton County, Wyoming coroner is expected to hold a press conference on Tuesday to announce the autopsy results for 22-year-old Gabby Petito.
According to a statement from the coroner's office, the press conference will be live-streamed on Zoom starting at 2:30 p.m. ET, but will be limited to members of the media. The press conference is also expected to be live-streamed by NewsNationNow on its website as well as some other local news outlets, such as WPBF-25 in Florida and WESH-2 News.
The press conference scheduled for Tuesday comes more than a month after Petito was first reported missing by her parents. She was eventually found dead near Wyoming's Grand Teton National Park on September 19.
On September 21, Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue confirmed that the body found was Petito's and ruled her manner of death as a homicide. The full results of the autopsy, such as the cause and time of death, are expected to be released during the press conference.
Petito went missing while on a road trip with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie and the couple documented many parts of their trip on social media.
Laundrie returned home to North Port, Florida in the white 2012 Ford Transit van that the couple was traveling in 10 days before Petito was reported missing by her parents.
A few days after, Laundrie's parents reported their son's disappearance and told police they believed he went for a hike in Florida's Carlton Reserve. Laundrie's parents initially told police that they last saw him on September 14, but they eventually changed their story and said they last saw him on September 13.
"Upon further communication with the FBI and confirmation of the Mustang being at the Laundrie residence on Wednesday, Sept. 15, we now believe the day Brian left to hike in the preserve was Monday, Sept. 13," Laundrie family attorney Steven Bertolino said in a previous statement.
Laundrie has been missing for nearly a month and law enforcement officials continue to search the Carlton Reserve.
The U.S. District Court in Wyoming has issued a federal arrest warrant for Laundrie but it does not accuse him of murdering Petito, the warrant accused him of of bank card fraud.
"The FBI and our partners across the country continue to investigate the facts and circumstances of Ms. Petito's homicide," the FBI in Denver said when announcing the arrest warrant.
Petito's mother, Nicole Schmidt, said during a recent interview that she believes Laundrie "knows everything" about her daughter's disappearance and death.
"I always say he's the key. He's the key to the puzzle," Schmidt said during an interview with Fox News' Laura Ingle last week.
