Gal Gadot Dressed as Wonder Woman Surprises Patients at Children's Hospital

Gal Gadot made a surprise visit to the Inova Children's Hospital in Annandale, Virginia, on Friday, dressed up in her full Wonder Woman costume.

Her appearance was praised by several staff members at the hospital.

"Dear Gal Gadot, thank you so much for visiting my patients and colleagues at #InovaChildrensHospital," Pediatric Nephrologist Patty Seo-Mayer tweeted. "Next time, can you align your visit with my call schedule? Love, #SuperFan."

"Thank you @GalGadot for visiting us @InovaHealth Children's Hospital. You are a true Wonder Woman. The kids loved it...and so did the staff #wonderwoman84," Dr Lucas Collazo added while tweeting a picture of Gadot and other staff members.

Several other photos of Gadot in her full Wonder Womanoutfit were also shared by fans on Twitter and Reddit.

The 33-year-old actress has recently been spotted in Washington D.C., where she has been filming Wonder Woman 1984, the sequel to the hugely popular 2017 blockbuster which raked in over $800 million worldwide at the box office, according to Variety.

As well as Washington, filming also looks set to take place in Alexandria, Virginia, the U.K., Spain and the Canary Islands, reports Indiewire.

Chris Pine looks set to reprise his role as Steve Trevor despite the suggestion he may have died at the end of the first Wonder Woman film.

Director Patty Jenkins will also return to the director's chair for the sequel, with Kristen Wiig set to take on the role of villain Barbara Minerva, aka Cheetah.

Jenkins teased a first glimpse of Wiig playing Minerva in June by tweeting a shot of her in full costume standing in what appears to be a museum.

Game of Thrones and Narcos star Pedro Pascal is also set to appear in the movie, although details about his role are still under wraps.

Gadot and Jenkins are also producing the upcoming sequel alongside Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, and Stephen Jones. Wesley Coller, Rebecca Steel Roven, Geoff Johns, Richard Suckle and Walter Hamada have also been named as executive producers.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be the eighth film to feature in the DC Universe franchise, and the fourth time Gadot will playing the character on screen.

Wonder Woman 1984 is scheduled for release on November 1, 2019.
