'Games of Thrones' Finale 'The Iron Throne': Did You Spot the Water Bottle Editing Fail?

With Game of Thrones fans mixed about the ending to Season 8, there was some time for laughter when a plastic bottle was spotted on the set during the premiere of the final episode Sunday night.

Warning: This article includes spoilers to Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 6.

By the feet of character Samwell Tarly, a plastic bottle was spotted by eagle-eyed fans, who likened the gaff to the coffee cup seen on the Game of Thrones set in Season 8, Episode 4. Fans also pointed to what might have been a second water bottle beside the feet of character Ser Davos.

While some fans laughed off the error, others said it reinforced their argument that the last season of Game of Thones had been rushed to completion.

There was another editing blunder spotted by fans in the penultimate episode. Jamie Lannister was spotted with two hands in his final scene with sister and lover, Cersei Lannister. However, the Kingslayer is supposed to have one gold hand due to losing his real one when trying to protect Brianne of Tarth.

The series finale of Game of Thrones on Sunday shocked fans with the death of Daenerys Targaryen and the crowning of King Brandon Stark. The Queen of Dragons was carried away by her loyal dragon, Drogon, after her lover and nephew, Jon Snow, stabbed her during a passionate kiss following her destruction of King's Landing in the previous episode. While fans are not sure where Drogon took Dany, many have been speculating.

Characters such as Sansa Stark and Ayra Stark, Tyrion Lannister and Bron made it to the end of the episode. Sansa was named Queen of the North, with her brother Brandon taking the throne of the now Six Kingdoms. Ayra took off to explore what is west of Westeros, and Bron was made Lord of Highgarden and master of coin.

A prequel to Game of Thrones is currently in the works. Currently named Bloodmoon, it is set during the Long Night, when the White Walkers first came to Westeros in the Age of Heroes.
