Georgia Man Arrested After Allegedly Tying Up a Woman, Sticking a Sock in Her Mouth and Threatening to Cut Off Her Toes

A man in Georgia has been arrested on suspicion of tying a woman up and threatening to cut off her toes.

Jeremy Miguel Anderson, 31, was arrested one day after a manhunt was launched to find him by the Clayton County Sheriff's Office.

Anderson was named as the force's most-wanted suspect following an incident that occurred on Sunday, November 25.

"Anderson should be considered armed and dangerous and if spotted, 911 should be dialed immediately," the Clayton County Sheriff's Office in a release at the time.

The suspect is accused of tying up his female victim with Duct tape, sticking a sock in her mouth and then threatening to cut off her toes if she made a noise.

After tying her up, Anderson is also accused of hitting the woman on the head several times, leaving her with bruises, and cutting her shoulder with a knife.

The day after he "came on the Sheriff's radar," Anderson was arrested in DeKalb County without incident.

"Anderson is now on his way to 'The Hill-ton' where he can ponder the errors of his ways as he learns how to properly face the wall at Georgia's toughest paramilitary jail," a Clayton County Sheriff's Office spokesperson said.

Online records show that Anderson is currently being held at the Clayton County jail charged with battery-physical contact/provoke, false imprisonment, terrorist threats, aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to CBS46, Anderson has a history of offending against children. In 2011, he was convicted of sexually abusing a 13 year old in North Carolina. He was also convicted of stalking and assaulting a 16-year-old girl in Florida in 2018.

Elsewhere, a couple in Georgia have been arrested on suspicion of forcing their child to take THC medication for years to treat a fake illness.

Lark Bui and Jennifer Bui were arrested on November 14 after the victim told her home tutor that the pair had been giving her THC drops for around three years since she was 10 or 11 years old.

The parents allegedly told the child what to say to the doctor in order to be prescribed THC, the main psychoactive compound in marijuana.

"The victim also stated that her parents would make brownies with the THC oil in them in the family's crockpot and then have her consume the brownies. The victim stated that when the brownies would be cooking in the crockpot, she would not feel well due to the aroma in the house and would have to stay on the second floor of the residence," an arrest document stated.
