‘Greatest Royal Rumble’ Adds Undertaker vs Rusev in Casket Match

After his impromptu match with John Cena at WrestleMania 34, WWE announced Undertaker will take on Rusev at the Greatest Royal Rumble event against Rusev in a casket match. The event takes place in Saudi Arabia April 27 and will feature a 50-man Royal Rumble, seven title bouts and a match between Triple H and John Cena.

Confirmed title matches include a rematch between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in a steel cage and a SmackDown Tag Team Championship match between The Bludgeon Brothers and The Usos. There will also be a ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship, which was originally billed for Miz, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe but that may change with the return of Jeff Hardy on the RAW after ‘Mania.

There will also be the RAW Tag Team Championship between Sheamus and Cesaro and either Matt Hardy/Bray Wyatt or The Revival, depending on the outcome of a qualifier next week on RAW. .

WWE has only confirmed  19 of the 50 men who will be competing in the Greatest Royal Rumble match, including the three members of New Day, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, Daniel Bryan, Baron Corbin, Apollo, Shelton Benjamin, Elias, Sin Cara, Chad Gable, Goldust, Titus O’Neil, Mojo Rawley, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, Big Show and Braun Strowman. Bray Wyatt  was originally billed for the rumble but if he wins his fight against the Revival on the April 16 edition of RAW, he will be in the RAW Tag Team Championship match. 

The Greatest Royal Rumble will stream live on the WWE Network on April 27 at 12 p.m. EDT.
