Harry Styles Lookalike Arrested for Pennsylvania Armed Robbery

A Pennsylvania man who bears a striking resemblance to singer Harry Styles has been charged with armed robbery after posting a Snapchat video showing off the stolen loot.

Jason Sanderlin, 21, is accused of kicking down the door of a Tyrone apartment before brandishing an automatic rifle and ordering those inside to get on the ground in the early hours of January 21.

Sanderlin is then alleged to have hit a woman over the head with the gun and grabbed her breasts while he attempted to bind her with zip ties, according to charges filed by state police and reported by WTAJ.

The woman told officers the pair struggled over the gun on the floor after she grabbed the weapon to defend herself.

Sanderlin is alleged to have stolen a quarter of a pound of marijuana and $400 in cash from the apartment on the 300 block of West 11th Street.

He posted a Snapchat video immediately after the robbery showing off the marijuana, state police claim.

The alleged victim said he was contacted by a friend who told him Sanderlin was selling marijuana. After viewing the video, he told police he believed the drugs in the video looked like the marijuana stolen from him.

Sanderlin was identified after the woman described her attacker as being about her height or slightly taller. The woman is 5 feet 3 inches tall and Sanderlin is listed as 5 feet 4 inches tall in court records.

Sanderlin's girlfriend Emily Eirhart, 19, also reportedly identified the robber with the rifle as Sanderlin after watching surveillance footage. The 21-year-old has a prominent tattoo on his forehead.

He has been charged with felony counts of robbery, conspiracy, aggravated assault and criminal trespass along with misdemeanor counts that include false imprisonment, indecent assault and terroristic threats. Sanderlin's bail was set at $200,000.

State police did not indicate whether Sanderlin's accomplice had been identified.

He is also accused of taking part in the October robbery of a woman in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the Altoona Mirror reported. He faces robbery and aggravated assault charges in that case and bail was set at $50,000.

It's not the first time a mug shot has gone viral. In 2014, former Crips member Jeremy Meeks was arrested during a gang sweep called Operation Ceasefire in Stockton, California. He was convicted on federal charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and grand theft.

When his mugshot was posted to Facebook, it went viral, with thousands of people calling him "Prison Bae" and the "Hot Felon." Upon his release from prison in March 2016, he began a modeling career. He went on to have a child with Chloe Green, the daughter of British fashion magnate Sir Philip Green.
