The site was voted the Best Haunted Attraction in the nation by USA Today's Reader's Choice poll back in 2018.

The haunted subterranean experience also holds the Guinness World Record for the at 3,563 feet.

A visit to the spooky caves can be taken from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. every Friday and Saturday night from September 17 to October 30. Tickets costs either $19 or $25 for adults, depending on the date you select.

Additionally, if you have very brave children in tow who are under 10 years of age, then their ticket will cost $10.

However, if you cannot get to Ohio but do love being scared, you may be interested in the fact that a company are looking to pay someone to watch horror films.

FinanceBuzz have recently advertised for a Horror Movie Heart Rate Analyst in the run-up to Halloween to compare budget flicks with high-end films.

The chosen candidate will be sent a FitBit to record their heart rate as they watch a range of well-known scary movies.

The company explained: "With Halloween around the corner, all streaming services and channels are going to start playing some familiar fear-inducing favorites.

"In honor of the upcoming spooky season, we at FinanceBuzz are dying to know whether or not high-budget horror movies deliver stronger scares than low budget ones."

As well as being paid $1,300 to watch all 13 films—including Saw, Paranormal Activity and The Blair Witch Project—the winner will also be given a $50 gift card to cover the costs of renting the movies.

Applications for the role will close on September 26 and the winner will be announced on October 8. That person will then have 10 days to make their way through all the movies.
