When snow sports instructor Sorin Radu began to snowboard at 7,000 feet elevation down Papusa Mountain in Gorj, Romania, on a clear blue day, things seemed to be going well. But after a few moments of his descent, which he filmed with a GoPro camera, he was swept up in an avalanche. The footage shows the snowpack crumble beneath Radu, before he takes a tumble and the video cuts out. Radu emerged unharmed, according to the Daily Mail and Mashable.
