Fox News Poll Shows Hillary Clinton Beating Donald Trump in 2020—And She's Not Even Running

Voters would prefer to see Hillary Clinton win the 2020 election that President Donald Trump—and she isn't even in the race.

A new poll from Fox News, released on Sunday, shows Clinton polling ahead of the president in a match-up between the pair, despite the two-time presidential hopeful not being among the Democrat candidates in the mix.

In a head-to-head between Trump and Clinton, the poll showed that 43 percent of voters would back Clinton, while 41 percent would vote for Trump, with 9 percent opting for "other" and 5 percent saying they would not vote at all.

However, overall the poll showed that Clinton was a less popular candidate than the current three Democrat frontrunners Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren—with all three beating Trump in a straight head-to-head, and with a greater percentage of the vote than Clinton would achieve.

Additionally, Clinton is a less popular "dream" candidate than former first lady Michelle Obama, with just 27 percent of people saying they would definitely vote for Clinton if she entered the Democrat race, and 39 percent saying they would consider voting for her, compared with 50 percent of respondents who would definitely vote for Obama and 39 percent who would would consider voting for her.

The poll, conducted between October 27-30 and surveying 1040 registered voters, also showed that the majority of respondents believed that any of the leading three candidates in the Democrat race (Biden, Sanders, and Warren) could beat Trump (with 72, 68, and 62 percent of respondents respectively).

Trump recently sarcastically suggested in a tweet that his 2016 rival Clinton should enter the 2020 race.

"I think that Crooked Hillary Clinton should enter the race to try and steal it away from Uber Left Elizabeth Warren. Only one condition. The Crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors including how & why she deleted 33,000 Emails AFTER getting "C" Subpoena!" Trump tweeted on October 9, prompting Clinton to jab back: "Don't tempt me. Do your job."

Clinton has repeatedly publicly said that she would not run for office again, however a report in The New York Times suggested that at one point she had privately mulled entering the primary if she believed she could win—but was unlikely to do so given the current field of candidates.
