After a nine-year hiatus, the cast of The Hills will reunite for MTV's new revival series, New Beginnings. The show is set to premiere on Monday night.

Several original cast members are slated to appear in the updated version of the show including married duo Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge, Justin Bobby Brescia, Frankie Delgado, Brody Jenner and Jason Wahler. Newcomers include Jenner's wife, Kaitlynn Jenner, The OC star, Mischa Barton, and Brandon Thomas Lee.

Noticeably missing from the cast is The Hills star, Lauren Conrad, who left the show in 2008. Conrad initially appeared in early MTV reality series, Laguna Beach, but was given the lead spot on The Hills, which debuted on the network in 2006. The show followed Conrad's love life and career as well as her contentious friendships with Patridge, Montag and Port. She left the series following an explosive blowout with Montag and Pratt, caused by rumors Pratt spread about her involvement in a fake sex tape, in 2008. Conrad was replaced by her former Laguna Hills nemesis Kristin Cavallari for the last two seasons of the show.

Cavallari also opted out of joining the cast for the 2019 show.

While the first seasons of The Hills was filled with relationship drama and bickering amongst friends, the updated series will give viewers a fresh perspective of the now all-grown-up cast, according to Nina L. Diaz, the president of entertainment for MTV, VH1, CMT and Logo.

"The cast is in different stages—newly married, new parents, newly single and learning to navigate different chapters of their lives. A lot has changed since we last saw the cast on screens," Diaz told The Hollywood Reporter during an interview released Monday. "Many [of them] are at a pivotal crossroads in their personal and professional journey. The cast let us into their lives to reveal some of the truths of their new reality and their real emotions as they experience these new beginnings."

Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean there will be a lack of drama on revival. Spencer Pratt's younger sister, Stephanie, has already been deemed as the mean girl of the cast. In addition to feuding with her brother and his wife ahead of the premiere, Lee—Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's son— noted how unwelcoming she was of him from the start of filming.

"You know who was mean to me right off the bat was probably Stephanie Pratt. I feel like the first day we filmed I was like, 'Why is she so mean?'" Lee told E! News. "I think she was more like, 'Oh you're the new kid in town. Beat it,' kinda deal. I don't care. She didn't really scare me. No one really scares me on the show."

Viewers can tune into the premiere of The Hills: New Beginnings on MTV on Monday night at 10 p.m. ET. The show will be available via live stream on MTV's website and app for those viewing on smart devices, however, fans will need a cable provider login to access the stream.
