'For Honor' Teases 'Assassin's Creed' Crossover, Full Reveal Tomorrow

Ubisoft has dipped its toes into creating crossover events with its games, most notably when Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher made his way to Ghost Recon Wildlands. Based on a tweet from the For Honor account, it looks like another crossover is about to happen.

With the Abstergo logo and the phrase "Nothing is true, everything is permitted," it's pretty obvious something related to Assassin's Creed is coming to For Honor . The video in the tweet ends by promising a full reveal during the Warrior's Den stream tomorrow, December 20.

So what could this tease be for? It's possible we'll see an Assassin's Creed character join the battle in For Honor. The classic Assassin motto is included, so the character likely would not be Kassandra or Alexios from the most recently released Assassin's Creed Odyssey since that game takes place before the creation of the Assassin Brotherhood. If Ubisoft is looking to include a classic character, Ezio from the Assassin's Creed 2 trilogy would be the most recognizable.

It's also possible this could just be a new weapon, like the trademark hidden blades. This means one of the pre-existing classes would have access to the new weapon, which would require players to get really up close and personal with their combat.

Ultimately, we'll just have to wait until tomorrow to see what this crossover will be all about. The Warrior's Den stream can be watched on the official For Honor Twitch account. For more information on when the stream will be live, follow the official For Honor Twitter account.

For Honor is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
