UConn, the tournament’s No. 2 seed, rolled past 11th-seeded Georgetown 67-51 in a semifinal on Friday night. Braylon Mullins scored 21 points for the Huskies while Silas Demary Jr. finished with 10 points and nine rebounds. Tarris Reed Jr. dished out eight assists while also blocking three shots. UConn is looking for a second Big East tournament title in three years.

Top-seeded St. John’s led by as much as 19 in the second half and held off No. 4 seed Seton Hall down the stretch in a 78-68 semifinal win on Friday night. Zuby Ejiofor tossed in 20 points for the Red Storm while Joson Sanon came off the bench for 15. Dillon Mitchell and Bryce Hopkins scored 13 points apiece, with Hopkins also notching seven rebounds.

The Red Storm beat the Huskies 81-72 at the Garden on Feb. 6 before UConn blasted St. John’s 72-40 at home on Feb. 25. Solo Ball averages 13.8 points for the Huskies, with Reed booking 13.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game, and Demary getting 11.0 points and 6.3 assists a night. Ejiofor fills the stat sheet with averages of 16.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks, and Hopkins scores 13.3 points per game.
