How to Watch 'CMA Country Christmas,' Who Is Performing and Everything You Need to Know

ABC is celebrating the holidays early this year with the 10th annual CMA Country Christmas special. A handful of beloved country artists will take the stage to perform a medley of Christmas songs on Tuesday night. The two-hour special has become a Christmas tradition for the network, and for the viewers who tune in. Here is everything you need to know about the one-night performances and how you can watch, or even attend next year.

Who Is Hosting

Country legend Trisha Yearwood will serve as the 2019 CMA Country Christmas host. In addition to her role in that capacity, she will also perform, according to the event's website. Yearwood explained how the artists in the 2019 special brought many types of music to the forefront.

"There are also other kinds of music represented like CeCe Winans brings the gospel flair. We have Tori Kelly. Kristen Chenoweth, who brings a Broadway-esque performance," she told TV Guide of the pre-recorded performances. "This band for KING & Country out of Australia does this performance of 'Little Drummer Boy' that rocks the building. I can't wait to see the show like everyone else."

Who Is Performing

CMA Christmas revealed the full list of performers on its website. In addition to Yearwood, the lineup includes Dierks Bentley, Chenoweth, Chris Janson, for King & Country, Tori Kelly, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Runaway June, Winans, Brett Young and Chris Young.

How to Watch

CMA Country Christmas will air on ABC Tuesday night. Its schedule differs by time zone. The United States viewing times are:

Eastern: 9 p.m.
Central: 8 p.m.
Mountain: 8 p.m.
Pacific: 9 p.m.

Cable subscribers can tune in to the show live,or they can record it for later viewing. Those with Hulu Live or YouTube TV can also watch the show live. It can also be streamed via the ABC app.

How To Attend

In 2019, CMA Country Christmas was filmed September 25 at the Curb Event Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The event was ticketed, and open to the public. It's likely next year's filming will follow suit. While tickets to the event cost as little as $18, the average ticket price was $64, according to ticketing site Tickets for next year's event are not yet on sale. Those who wish to attend should watch for tickets released in late summer 2020.
