'Who You Gonna Call?' Josh Gad, Host of the 'Ghostbusters' Reunion

The cast of the original Ghostbusters film will reunite on Monday as part of actor Josh Gad's Reunited Apart series.

Gad announced that the cast would reunite for a virtual reunion in a video on his YouTube channel, appropriately titled "Who You Gonna Call?"

The video will stream on Gad's YouTube channel on Monday June 15 at 9 a.m. PT (12 p.m. ET) and will feature many members of the original cast. In the announcement video, the reunion is sure to include the Bill Murray (Peter Venkman), Dan Aykroyd (Ray Stantz), Sigourney Weaver (Dana Barrett), Ernie Hudson (Winston Zeddmore), Annie Potts (Janine Melnitz), and director Ivan Reitman. It will also likely feature director Jason Reitman, Ivan's son, who has been tapped to direct the 2021 sequel Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

The episode will also serve as a fundraiser for the Equal Justice Initiative. In the video's description, Gad announced that Barefoot Wine would kick off donations with a $100,000 donation to EJI.

"In our most exciting episode yet, the cast of Ghostbusters, including Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts alongside directors Ivan and Jason Reitman discuss the making of one of the greatest fantasy comedies of all time, relive some of their favorite moments and enjoy a few fun surprises along the way, all in support raising money for the Equal Justice Initiative," Gad said in a statement.

In the promo clip, Gad calls the original film director's son to put him in touch with his dad. After Reitman asks if he wanted to a Reunited Apart for his 1993 Kevin Kline/Sigourney Weaver–starring comedy Dave, Gad asks to do something a little more "supernatural" from his filmography.

After Jason Reitman chimes in that he wants to talk about Ghostbusters, Annie Potts chimes into the call to ask Gad an iconic question before agreeing to the reunion: "Do you believe in UFOs, astral projections, mental telepathy, ESP, clairvoyance, spirit photography, telekinetic movement, full trance mediums, the Loch Ness monster and the theory of Atlantis?" Of course Gad replied, "If there's a reunion in it, I'll believe anything you say."

The Ghostbusters reunion marks Gad's fifth in the Reunited Apart series. Other installments feature the casts of The Goonies, Back to the Future, Splash, and Lord of the Rings.

This isn't the first time that the Ghostbusters crew have climbed aboard Ecto-1 and reunited. The original cast all made cameos in Paul Feig's 2016 Ghostbusters reboot. The participating cast members are also set to appear in Jason Reitman's Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which is due out in 2021. Rick Moranis does not seem to be involved. The actor has taken break from acting in films since 1997, but he has made sporadic appearances in various TV shows and movies and is set to appear in the upcoming Honey, I Shrunk the Kids reboot. Writer and actor Harold Ramis, who played Egon Spengler in the original film, died in 2014.
