How to Watch The NFL Draft Virtual After Party With Shaq, DJ Khaled and Meghan Trainor

Virtual parties have never been as popular as what's going on Thursday night for the 2020 NFL Draft. The draft was held virtually, and almost all of the 32 NFL teams had virtual draft parties. The biggest of them all might be the virtual night cap.

Shaquille O'Neal will lead the NFL Draft After-Party and NFL Draft-A-Thon fundraiser for Covid-19 relief, presented by Oikos Triple Zero. The event will be broadcast live on Instagram Live through O'Neal's page. The event will begin at 10 p.m. ET, two hours after the draft begins.

Shaq has already announced the following performances and set list:

  • 'Nice to Meet Ya' by Meghan Trainor ft. Nicki Minaj
  • 'Bubble Butt' by Diplo
  • 'Toosie Slide' by Drake
  • DJ Khaled tracks

Shaq will be joined on the virtual dance floor by NFL superstars Rob Gronkowski and Saquon Barkley, and up-and-coming players Isaiah Simmons, Jeff Okudah and Tristan Wirfs. There will also be special celebrity guests appearances from DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor, DJ D-Nice, Toosie and Faze Apex.

Oikos Triple Zero has been the official yogurt of the NFL since the brand launched in 2015, and the sole presenting sponsor of the NFL Draft Experience and top-tier sponsor of the NFL Draft since 2017. An Oikos Triple Zero spokesperson told Newsweek that, in lieu of a traditional NFL Draft Experience this year, they wanted to help bring sports fans and draftees together during the coronavirus pandemic and give everyone a reason to smile while staying strong at home.

That led to the creation of the company's new ad for the draft called "Flex Your Cryceps," which showcases footballer-sized muscles and tears. They believe strength comes in many forms—from the physical to the emotional—and wanted to acknowledge the training and tears that are part of this journey and moment.

The ad features Saquon Barkley, Deshaun Watson, Dak Prescott, Juju Smith-Schuster, Golden Tate III, Jaylon Smith, Chris Jones, Drew Lock, Garett Bolles, Gerald McCoy, Jonah Williams, Marquise Brown and Rashan Gary flexing their face muscles and shedding tears.

"Although the NFL Draft may look different this year, we wanted to bring sports fans joy in this moment through our ad, and by hosting the Official NFL Draft After-Party to support Meals On Wheels," said Surbhi Martin, Vice President of Marketing at Danone North America.

Shaq, who played basketball at LSU, ironically hosts the virtual after party the same night LSU quarterback Joe Burrow was chosen as the No. 1 overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals. Shaq reminds people to stay safe and quarantined during the Covid-19 crisis, also known as the coronavirus pandemic.

"There is a right way to quarantine and it involves staying home, staying strong and sliding into my Instagram Live for Stay Strong feat. Shaq, presented by Oikos Triple Zero! Let's dance it out together at the Official NFL Draft After-Party and support the NFL Draft-A-Thon for Covid-19 relief!" said O'Neal, also known as DJ Diesel

Fans can attend the after-party by joining @Shaq's Instagram Live this evening at 10 p.m. EDT and, only if they are able, are invited to donate to the NFL Draft-A-Thon for Covid-19 relief by visiting the Meals on Wheels website.
