NXT Takeover: New York Start Time and How to Watch Online

WrestleMania weekend begins Friday with NXT Takeover: New York, as the WWE's third brand comes to the Big Apple in one of the most-anticipated shows of the week.

Five confirmed matches will feature the best and brightest of NXT as a new era is about to begin. A new NXT Champion will be crowned after Tommaso Ciampa had to vacate "Goldie" following his neck injury. Will Johnny Gargano finally capture the NXT Championship or will Adam Cole make NXT undisputed?

Each title with the NXT branding will be on the line this Friday, and if you want to watch it from home or on-the-go, you'll need to know this pertinent information including the start time, card and how to watch online.

WHAT TIME DOES NXT TAKEOVER: NEW YORK START?

NXT Takeover: New York begins Friday, April 5 at 7 p.m. EDT. The pre-show begins at 6 p.m. EDT, which will analyze each match and interviews.

HOW TO WATCH NXT TAKEOVER: NEW YORK

The NXT Takeover: New York pre-show will be streamed live from the WWE Network, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Fans can visit any of the WWE's social media accounts to catch the match breakdowns.

Speaking of match breakdowns, here's the card confirmed for Takeover: New York:

  • NXT Championship 2-out-of-3 Falls Match - Johnny Gargano vs. Adam Cole
  • NXT Women's Championship Fatal 4-Way Match - Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Kairi Sane vs. Io Shirai vs. Bianca Belair
  • WWE United Kingdom Championship Match - Pete Dunne (c) vs. WALTER
  • NXT Tag Team Championship Match - The War Raiders (c) vs. Aleister Black & Ricochet
  • NXT North American Championship Match - Velveteen Dream (c) vs. Matt Riddle

To watch the actual show, fans will need to sign-up for the WWE Network. If you don't already have an account - or the password to your friend's subscription - you can sign up for a free trial if you've never subscribed to the Network before.

WWE offers a free trial for one month by signing up with a credit card. Fans can cancel their subscription at any time, and the monthly fee is $9.99. If you sign up for the free trial today, you will also get WrestleMania 35 on Sunday for free.

WWE Network can be watched on your PC or a mobile device by downloading the app on iOS and Android devices. The WWE Network is also available on PS4 and Xbox One, simply by searching "WWE Network" on the PlayStation and Microsoft stores, as well as on streaming devices like Roku and the Amazon Fire Stick.
