Thanksgiving NFL Halftime Performance: How to Watch Luke Combs Live

It may not be as coveted a gig as the Super Bowl Halftime Show, but this Thursday Luke Combs will take center stage at another major sporting event.

The country music singer will provide the entertainment at the halftime show during Thursday's Dallas Cowboys game against the Las Vegas Raiders at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas. The performance will take place in collaboration with the Salvation Army — the 25th time the two organizations have teamed up for the Red Kettle Campaign.

The game and the performance will be shown live on TV. Here's everything you need to know about how to watch the show, and why Thursday's game even has a halftime show.

How to Watch the Luke Combs Thanksgiving Performance

Luke Combs will provide the entertainment at halftime during this year's Thanksgiving game between the Cowboys and the Raiders.

The game, and the performance from Combs, will air on CBS on Thursday November 25, 2021 from 4:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT.

It's part of a charity effort, which is a collaboration between the Dallas Cowboys and the Salvation Army. This partnership has been running for 25 years to launch the charitable Red Kettle Campaign. Previous performers at the Red Kettle Kickoff halftime show have included Destiny's Child, Meghan Trainor, Luke Bryan, Selena Gomez, Kelly Clarkson and the Jonas Brothers.

Combs announced his involvement in this year's performance via the AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys) Twitter account. After confirming his appearance he said: "Together we can make sure hope marches on for millions of families in need this holiday season."

In the press release announcing Combs' involvement, he said: "Considering I'm a huge football fan, the Dallas Cowboys were always on our TV on Thanksgiving Day growing up, so it is a complete honor to be a part of their 25th Thanksgiving Day halftime show supporting The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign."

He added: "I'm humbled to be able to try and help put food on people's tables and presents under their trees for Christmas. I hope lots of people will become aware of how they can help this year and beyond through my performance."

Combs' album, What You See Ain't Always What You Get, is out now and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart as well as Billboard's Top Country Albums chart.

As well as the musical performance, the Cowboys (7-3) will take on the Raiders (5-5) in one of three Thanksgiving games taking place on Thursday, November 25.

The Bears take on the Lions on FOX from 12:30 p.m. ET, Raiders at the Cowboys airs on CBS from 4:30 p.m. ET, and the Bills are at the Saints live on NBC from 8:20 p.m. ET.
