'I Would Like 100 Hard-Shell Tacos': Woman's Hilarious 'Worst First Date' Story Goes Viral

A woman recently recounted the "worst first date [she's] ever been on," which apparently included 100 hard-shell tacos from Taco Bell.

She shared the hilarious story on TikTok, where it has garnered 11 million views in just two days.

"What's the worst first date I've ever been on? I'm so glad you asked," says Elyse Meyers (@elysemyers) at the beginning of her viral video.

"Before I met my smoke show of a husband, I was on dating apps," she continued. "This man messages me out of the blue and goes 'I like your face, let's go get some food.'"

Myers accepted, but things quickly went downhill.

Her date suggested they meet at his house and drive from there. Myers agreed though she admits in the video that this probably wasn't a wise decision.

When she pulled up to his house, she saw him standing outside. According to her, he "lost [his] keys," so he asked Myers if she could drive.

"Should I have just left him right there and gone home? Yes," Myers says. "Did I? Absolutely not."

From there, her date provided her with "turn-by-turn" directions until they finally arrived at a Taco Bell. He told her to go through the drive-thru, which she wasn't too upset about; however, this is when things went from bad to worse.

"We get to the speaker and he just leans over me and goes, 'I would like 100 hard-shell tacos, thank you,'" Myers explained. She quickly discovered that her date forgot his wallet, forcing her to pay for the large order.

They took the tacos back to his place, and when they walked through the front door, she noticed his dad sitting on the couch. Myers then told viewers that her date proceeded to dump all of the tacos onto the kitchen table and screamed, "let's feast."

His father joined them and the three ate in silence until finally, his dad tried to talk to Myers. It was then she decided to leave.

"I am now just collecting the tacos because I paid for them," Myers said at the end of the video. "I walk out with boxes of tacos in my purse and I look back and I was like, 'thank you for this experience, you will never hear from me again.'"

At multiple points in her video, Myers admitted that she ignored several red flags while on the date. To avoid an uncomfortable or unsafe situation, RAINN said there are a few things people can do when meeting an online connection for the first time.

In an online guide, RAINN encouraged all people to share not only their date's profile but also the location of the date with a friend. This way, if something goes awry, someone knows how to help. The organization also strongly recommends against meeting in a private place or relying on a date for transportation.

"It's important that you are in control of your own transportation to and from the date so that you can leave whenever you want and do not have to rely on your date in case you start feeling uncomfortable," said RAINN. "Even if the person you're meeting volunteers to pick you up, avoid getting into a vehicle with someone you don't know and trust, especially if it's the first meeting."

And perhaps most importantly, a person should trust their instincts.

Thankfully, Myers safely left her date with nearly 100 tacos in hand, and thousands online are in stitches over her horrifyingly odd story.

"I am CRYING," said TikToker hellotefi.

"Ok as Tinder I've heard A LOT of bad dating stories but as of 10/7/2021 this one is top 10," said the official Tinder account "TIDDNER."

Actress Madison Pettis commented: "I am literally wheezing I'm laughing so hard."

"YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUSSSS," added singer Peach PRC.
